Theresa Hood Theresa Hood

Theresa Hood graduated in 1995 with a licensed vocational nursing degree (LVN) from Baptist Health System (BMHS). For the next 18+ years (from 4/1995 to 12/2013), she worked full time as an LVN at three of Baptist’s main hospitals throughout San Antonio. In November 2013 her grandmother became terminally ill.

She was the inspiration and reason behind Theresa originally becoming a nurse. In December 2013, Theresa decided she needed to spend as much time as she could caring for her grandmother since she did not know how much time her grand-mother had left. Theresa left BMHS in late December 2013 and cared of her grandmother until she passed away in June 2014. At that time Theresa decided she was ready for a career change. She went to work for Senior Home to Home in November 2014 because she realized that she still had a strong desire to help the elderly. Her new found passion was perfect for her involvement with Home 2 Home 4 Seniors because people really need assistance when a loved one requires care. Most people have nowhere to turn when they find themselves in this situation. Theresa finds it empowering to be able to assist individuals through the “eye of the storm” and provide them with options for themselves, or their loved ones. Solving a problem by pairing someone with the perfect community, or other healthcare solution, gives Theresa the personal satisfaction she needs on a daily basis.

Patrice holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX and will receive her Master’s in HealthCare Administration December 2017. As a young lady Patrice knew nothing about Geriatrics, Medicare or Memory Care and desperately needed guidance. It took Patrice quite sometime to find a suitable place for her grandmother. This is when Patrice realized there are others out there that are facing this same challenge and she felt this was a call to action for her. Patrice’s family means the world to her and she knows that many of the families she serves feel very much the same.

Her natural desire to help people and her personal life experiences have led her to Home 2 Home 4 Seniors. Miriam knows first hand and believes that no one should have to take this journey alone! Barbara Lambert

Barbara Lambert, President

Barbara Lambert, President and Founder of Home 2 Home 4 Seniors,  worked for a retirement community shortly after moving to Texas 10 years ago. Not really knowing much about the industry, it felt like a calling as most of her life, she has had an affinity for seniors. Barbara had track record of success working previously in an industry that demanded excellent people skills and exceptional communication.

She was a logical hire as a Business Development Director for the facility. The Regional, Admissions and Executive directors were great mentors and within months the census quickly rose to numbers not seen in a while. An offer to work for a company that referred families nationwide to appropriate levels of care was presented to Barbara. As an Advisor she helped families inquiring over the internet and locally as how to find solutions for family situations involving seniors. A Place for Mom was founded by Pam and John Temple and Brian Trisler. She fell in love with the philosophy of the founders and the purpose it gave her. It was easy to become a top achiever in the nation. Barbara became a Trainer for the new hires. Pam, John and Brian sold A Place for Mom to Warburg Pincus in 2010. As often happens when a company is sold, things changed and Barbara left the company in 2012 and created Home 2 Home 4 Seniors.

Home 2 Home 4 Seniors embraces the philosophy that “no one should ever have to take this journey alone”. Barbara and her team of advisors believe no detail is too small when it comes to finding the best solution(s) for families we are consulting with. Calls and inquiries come from those looking for a little something more. It may have been more socialization, care free living, or perhaps they are in need of personal care and/or supervision. We help navigate the road of senior living to finding what is both affordable and appropriate for a senior.

Many of the concepts of previous careers have been adopted by Barbara, as well as new ideas and philosophies. Family advisement and the career opportunity for Home 2 Home’s advisors are second to none in the industry. Barbara’s philosophy of always doing “what’s right for the family” is a recipe for success. Barbara has great vision to grow the company and have advisors nationwide.

Many communities  reimburse us for our consulting services, thereby enabling us to work for families without charge.
